I’ve had this in mind for a while, i finally got around to getting it out there. I have to give some credit to my artist workmates for helping me conceptualize the background. I had a vague idea but sometimes you just need some help to get it out the right way. Sooo happy with the result, it really conveys the spiritual side to Korra i was going for. Will be available at SMASH! 2015

this was like one of the first korrasami arts i ever saw and i remember when this was one of the only ones like how things have changed

When you put it like that, it makes me extremely proud of this piece. Because prior to reading your comment, I always thought, “ugh why is this old doodle still getting reblogged?” (artists, you know how you feel about your old drawings.) But now it’s one of the originals.

Thanks for putting it into perspective. This former crack ship has come such a long way.
